Our timber products are manufactured from pressure treated douglas fir/larch. The timber used is pressure-treated to protect it from rot and insects. All timber products need to be maintained to prevent weathering, this needs to be considered when specifying timber for your sign location.
A 5mm thick UV resistant polycarbonate panel can be used to assist in protecting the information panel from vandalism and the elements. UV resistant polycarbonate helps filter direct sunlight penetrating through to the print, this also prolongs the print life.
